Staying in school, studying and people watching and seeing people do random stuff sometimes takes me away from what's ganna happen outside school. It's quite a good feeling, especially when I see people whom I know and a conversation strikes up. It's great. #37

When I am sad. I stop being sad and be awesome instead. - Barney Stinson #33

Every special moment happens only once, be it doing tutorial, listening to a lecture or even walking to the nearest coffee shop to grab a bite. And within this one action, we are blessed in so many unique ways we often fail to notice. We curse and at times, swear at this horrible day of ours and play a recording of how it would be like if everything didn't go the way it did. But here's the thing,
Everyday is a new beginning with the sun-rays seeping into us. There's this rhythm in our life which mirrors the rhythm of our heartbeat. It tingles our heart strings but it doesn't seem to spread to the rest of our body, our mind. Breathe and let live, wonderful things are actually all around us and make every moment count cause there isn't a moment like any other.

I feel so damn lethargic and void of all motivation to even read something or do something. Shit perhaps a bath would make me feel better. Late night suppers and a lack of sleep is a freaking good combo. I need a combo breakerrrrrrrrr #29

Things to look forward to: Summer holidays Arts camp Time spent with dearest Economics camp Catching up with awesome people Mahjong O week Bidding with old friends, new friends Something to not look forward to: Dashing in and out of my comfort zone. Hey! the things to look forward too FAR outweighs that of not looking forward to. It ain't that bad. I came across while reading something "If lives were lost today, then today lives were also born. How important each and everyday is depends on how important you feel it is to you" #27

The closer you look the less you see. I always thought this was just a random catchphrase, but today while doing my work, it really was the more you look the less you see.
Things isn't always as complicated as I made it out to be.

Doesn't really matter how everybody does. I realised that when friends all around you get around the same score, it really feels good. It feels more like a, "die together" feeling. It feels kinda, good ironically. #16

So I went for a run today and intended to do like a long run but prolly give up halfway kind. There was this uncle who was already running around the track. I din take notice of him at first, but at my 7th round, he was still running. Now that's an extremely rare sight. He went slow but he never stop. I decided maybe I should run until he stops. But damn I'm 25 rounds into running which is about 50mins and he's still at it, panting but always taking a step forward.
That's some determination and one hell of a struggle.

Feelings described by that ant bite feeling rising up to your head. These things that make feelings behave this way is always worth it #14

I was thinking what common traits do me and some of my close friends have. I came to a conclusion - They all have one hell of a character which is similar/congruent to mine. Am I glad? I'm glad to the point that I feel like I've taken 927569238402159723748012940671897412849028628340821430572 'glad' pills.
Friends accompany me at different stages of my life. Fucking good friends accompany through every different stage of my life. Not talking to you doesn't mean they forget about you. It's just that it's awkward to talk to you through text or wa because the proper message isn't brought across. When I meet with my close friends, we talk, we laugh, we scold each other but ultimately, we catch up on each other's life in the most unique way ever. So what's the difference between how I know which are my friends and which are the ones that make up part of my life. It's kinda easy; the ones that are themselves when they are around me and dun give a damn about what they say or how they act or how judgemental we can get. They give off a certain kind of vibe of not putting up a pretence but genuinely being themselves. And damn, it's infectious!
Oh here's another one, when someone else asked you about him/her, you practically destroy his/her reputation with a smile on your face. Oh damn that's what I always do plus some vulgarities, because I feel DAMN proud to have to have them as my friend and the only way for me to describe them to the best, is by using some crude words. The cruder, the better.

I love to drive home at night alone and sing in the car or probably yell in the car. The cheap thrills and that indescribable feeling of euphoria #12

Well I really really tried to tell myself not to think about it, But I just can't and there's nothing I can do. That awful feeling. I'll just sulk and get over it. Damnit #11

That bittersweet feeling when I hear great things about sr never fails to bring a smile to my face. I miss those will runs and thanksgiving but I guess what I really miss is the class that I was in. That routine of sleeping at 1am and waking up at 6.45am can be quite a pain. But that routine of studying/having fun/having more fun/having much more fun with everybody keeps me going. It's amazing how the company can bring such overwhelming laughter to me. It's infectious. I felt how it was like for a school to be a home and... a home to be a school. Oh actually, just home. #10

The rare times that I listen to the radio in the car and the station went 'Be yourself and I'll be mine" Part of me by Katy started playing. Yup, this is the part of me that you are never ganna take away from me. |
