HELLO IM BACK!
Like yesterday actually, got no jet lag. Just cause not to suffer form jet lag, gotta time what time i sleep and wake up. But phew, new york was awesome.

If i could describe new york, it'll be - "A city of lights, A city that never sleeps"

The flight there was like wtheck seriously, 22hours flight in total, transiting at Frankford. I slept most of the time though, wanted to watch inception on the plane, but the screen was so small and the earphones kinda er... So i scratch that, and slept. The food was great though, i was too tired to slowly enjoy it.

Day1: Empire state. We walk like crazy from the hotel to empire state. Bearing the -1 degrees and the strong winds that blow. It's freaking coldddd when the wind blow! Like walaooo, how to walk! But it was worth the trip! The view from empire state is like wooooo, 86th story up into the sky and watching the skyline with all the lights is simply amazing! There's the 105th story or something, but that one is more ex i guess, the view is prolly the same though. At night, everything goes. We saw quite alot, rockefella centre, the bridges and stuff. Walk pass some park which was supposed to be famous but apparently it's too cold and no one is really sitting near it.
I forgot where we had dinner, but it should be amazing. The burgers are huge, real HUGE.
Reach hotel, straight away sleep.

Day2: Statue of liberty and Eilis island. It was like a history lesson -.-. I thought today was ganna be boring, like really boring cause i thought it'll end very fast. But who knows. Woke up at 7+, made our way down to south ferry to catch the ferry over to liberty first. It feels different when you're near the statue compared to watching it from the television or internet. You know you know, it should be bronze in colour, but overtime because of the weathering and stuff, it turned green. And the crown which has 7 pointed edges symbolizes the 7 seas and the 7 continents. How cool is that. "Climb" the liberty to the pedestral, took some photos with new york as the sky line. Could not go to the crown cause i think i was too cold or something. Oh well.
Took a ferry to Eilis island next! That's the place where the first immigrants came to new york during the er, world war 1 or something. Before that i think, cannot remember alr. Alot of history, nice place. Spend quite some time doing alot of reading.
Reach back new york prolly about 4+. Head over to walk street to look at the ground zero, which is also the world trade centre or something. We walk pass the site without even knowing it. LOL. Cause we were like, is that the one, but it somehow did not felt it's the one. But it turned out to be the world trade. They're rebuilding it something.
Walk around, went to century 21, mother shopped. Wanted to head down to soho, litte italy and chinatown! But dad was too tired, so we headed back to the hotel instead. :D

Day3 : SHOPPING SHOPPING SHOPPING. Omg, i cannot tell you i like this part. I bought quite alot of stuff, okay actually more stuff than usual when i go outlet shopping, but it's like freaking cheap okay. Got a lauren shoes, dkny watch, nautica belt, CK wallet, 2 nike shorts. I feel so proud of myself. And i was literally freezing with my cousin cause we wore 1 layer and a jacket only and the temperature was -2degrees. Take that man, FML that day. Car ride was 45mins though, nice sleeeepppp. Went to have dinner at some thai restaurant which was supposed to be very famous, and it's indeed good! The spices were awesome and the food was great.
Headed back to hotel after that.

Day4: Okay, more visiting landmarks and stuff. First was the Golden Bull at Wall street. Second was the Grand Central Terminal at terminal. Third was Little Italy, Soho that area. I can fully tell you how to get around new york using the subway already. Figured the whole thing out with cousin during the day. :D

Day5 : Had breakfast in the morning, headed down to the airport take a flight to buffalo. Changed to a taxi and cross over to canada over to nigara to see yeappppp, the Nigara Falls & The American Falls. It was awesome, serious, it's really 1 of the 7 wonders of the world. We reached in the afternoon and we check in the toilet. We stayed at like the 40th fall in embassy suites and wtf man. Just looking out of the window, the whole freaking american and nigara falls is in plain view, No obstruction, no nuts. We sat in the hotel room looking and admiring it for idk how long before going down & nearer towards the falls. It was prolly around night alr, and there was this illumination thing. It's beautiful. Majestic is a better word i guess.
Had steaks in the restaurant itself with a part of the nigara falls view. :D

Day 6: Breakfast was like damn good. Really good, sat near the window and the falls was in plain sight again with a clear view again. After that, took a domestic flight back to new york, check in at ramada, which is the east side of new york at queens. Cause basically, New york was seperated into 4 parts - Manhantten, The bronx, Queens, Brooklyn. Bought food, went to hotel, rest throughout. Damn freaking tired.

Day 7: Check out, took a subway to century 21 and did more last min shopping. went back, took a plane all the wayyyy back to singapore. Only 22hours rides, fml. And cause of that, my back is super super pain now. Damn it.

There were some interesting things i saw. Traffic was amazing, the taxi driver was telling us, from the city area to back home, could take 1hours plus because the traffic is soooo bad. The worst is if u stay at long island. finish work at 4+, reach home at 7.30, sometimes even later. Wow. Seagulls could not fly against the wind at liberty and elis island. They were literally blown back. LOL. Imagine how cold when the wind blows. Damn.
I guess when we grow older and go overseas, we appreciate things much, much more.

This is super meaningful -
But Life's not the breath you take, the breathing in and out
That gets you through the day, ain't what it's all about
You just might miss the point, trying to win the race
Life's not the breaths you take, but the moments that take your breath away
The breath you take ~ George Strait.
- Dun rush, breath and enjoy life.

Byee ;D
