This is a poem written by a teenager with cancer.
She wants to see how many people get her poem.
It is quite the poem.
This poem was written by a terminally ill young girl in a New York Hospital.
It was sent by a medical doctor.
SLOW DANCE
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round?
Or listened to the rain
Slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight?
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down.
Don't dance so fast
Time is short.
The music won't last

Do you run through each day-On the fly?
When you ask How are you?
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short.
The music won't last

Ever told your child, We'll do it tomorrow?
And in your haste,Not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,Let a good friendship die
Cause you never had time To call and say,'Hi'
You'd better slow down.
Don't dance so fast.
Time is short.
The music won't last

When you run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
It is like an unopened gift...
Thrown away.
Life is not a race
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.

Poem extracted from shili's blog who got it from reading an email

I cannot agree more to this Poem, it makes alot of sense, and if that girl at the other side of the world is indeed dying from cancer. I sincerly wish that you have a chance to recover. Do not give up, keep on listening to the music, because the song never ends as long as your will brings you through.

Enough of that, woke up late. Late to meet nina chorlin and pauline. kay interview was fine. Quite nice talking to Mr edwin Lye. Gave us quite a few pointers.
Headed to chorlin's house. Did fgd, interview, survey stuff, and another email interview.
Pw is finally done, out of my head. Time to study.

Shuang zi xing is nice, but typical. Oh, singaporeans, they like to complicate matters. That's their style though ;D.
It's time to mug and stuff
I still cannot get the poem off my head, it lingers.

A life within a life.

Bye ;D

P.s Who ask you guilliable and stuff ! haha ;D
